Abstract: A method to quantitatively evaluate the propagation of parametric fluorescence is proposed. The probability distribution of photon pairs, including the influence of the optical setup in accordance with the wave vector and frequency, is numerically calculated. From this probability distribution, the coincidence counting probability can be simply evaluated. Comparing with experimental data of the iris size dependences of single and coincidence counting rates, the calculated results reproduce the experimental data well without the use of fitting parameters.
