| Abstract: | Pollenoides kuyanianus Matsumura, 1916, described from Taiwan, is established as a junior synonym of Bengalia fuscipennis Bezzi, 1913, syn. nov. Pollenoides Matsumura, 1916 is established as a junior synonym of Bengalia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830, syn. nov. Of the three original spellings of the specific name kuyanianus is chosen as the correct original spelling by first reviser action. Lectotypes are designated for Bengalia fuscipennis and Pollenoides kuyanianus. Bengalia fuscipennis is known from Taiwan and Guangdong province of China. |
