Abstract:	北海道大学のAO入試は，平成22年度入試にて節目の10年を迎えた。本学AO入試の推移を振り返ると，総志願者数が緩やかに減少している中で，志願者数を維持している募集単位と，志願者数を大きく減らしている募集単位があることが明らかになった。また，合格者数が募集定員を大きく下回ることが，翌年以降の志願者数減少につながる可能性があることがわかった。平成23年度の総合入試導入を柱とする入試制度の大幅な改革により，AO入試の位置づけがどのように変化するかを注意深く見守る必要がある。
