| Abstract: | 動物看護師の労働状況とメンタルヘルスの現状について把握するための予備的研究として､現役で勤務している動物看護師を対象に質問調査を実施した｡調査はウェブを介して行い､ 32名の回答を得た｡有効回答は31名であり､そのうち15名(46.8%)は心と身体の健康調査表(STPH)の抑うつ尺度得点が高く､うつ病の可能性があると判断された｡同得点による抑うつ傾向は未婚者よりも既婚者で強かったD過去に思い描いていた動物看護師像と現在の自己認識像が乗離している者でも抑うつ傾向は強く､そうした禿離を防ぐために職業教育や求職活動のあり方を再考する必要性が示唆された｡また､自由記述からは｢ワーク･ライフ･バランスの未達成｣や｢人間関係での苦労｣､ ｢労働条件に関する不満｣などが問題として指摘された｡ | | A pilot study involving a web-based questionnaire was performed to investlgate the relationship between the mental health and working condltions of veterinary technicians. The study collected data from 32 active veterinary technicians. Of the 31 valid participants, 15 (46,8%) Were suspected of having depression because they had a high score for the depression subscale of the Screening Test of psychosomatic Health (STPH). The STPH scores indicated that married partlClpantS had a significantly greater tendency to be depressed than those who were single. Furthermore, participants with an image gap between ideal and actual job conditions showed a strong depression tendency, which indicates the need to review the style of vocational education and job search methods used during the course of training. The responses to the qualitative questions indicated that the followlng factors created problems for the veterinary technicians : inability to achieve a work-life balance, sense of interpersonal burden, and unsatisfactory work environment. |
