Abstract: The livestock of Japan, especially specific companies and groups are paying attention to integration which means they integrate meat food chains. The earlier integration was formed by big capital such as big companies, feed companies, but it has problems like a small income in an agriculture producion sector and a low position of an agriculture producer. After that, the diversification had been progress and a medium & small-sized party founded by livestock producer was main integration and made a move to go into the market. In this study, it calls "the producer investment integration" and Global Pig Farm (GPF) is dealt with a typical case. This study has main task to determine the relationship between family pig farming's competitiveness and the producer investment integration. In order to approach this, I executed analysis considering regionality and analysed the development of GPF related with the trend of pig farming in Miyagi-Prefecture. Reorganizing the structure of swine farm and the formation of GPF, the expansion course of member management are determined through statistics and case study. Getting bigger of pigs and the increase of pig diseases caused by the close bredding, the occurrence of livestock polution are a mainly cause to threaten the development of swine farm management. Although upgrading facilities, introducing new technology, relocating farm to a land on a mountaion or making second farm are carried out as a measure of solving the problem, relocationg farm to a land on a mountain caused difficulty to obtain manpower. The case management promotes to secure family member's labor including relatives and improve good quality about obtaining labor, and seeks long-term employment and the improvement of good quality about employment of labor. This enables to realize the detaioled and high-advanced pig management with the highly developed facilities and introduction of new technology. Also, this is a source of family pig farming"s competitiveness. GPF and Tohokuchikuken that local organization of GPF implement various measures and support member management. Because of this, the producer investment integration has enhanced family pig farmng's competitiveness and it can be evaluated as the efficiend econmoy system on the swine farm.
