Abstract:	近年化石資源の枯渇が懸念されており、埋蔵量の多い超重質油や、原油精製で副生する重質油を有効利用する技術が求められている。本研究では酸化鉄触媒を用いた水蒸気分解により重質油・超重質油を軽質燃料化することを目的とした。結果、重質油である常圧残油は十分に軽質化され、約50%のガソリン＋ケロセンを生成することに成功した。また超重質油であるビチューメンでも反応実験を行い、十分に軽質化することがわかった。
