| Abstract: | 雨龍研究林は1901（明治34）年の発足以来、森林管理としては択伐作業を中心とする天然林施業を行ってきた。特に近年においては、森林生態系の各種モニタリングや組織研究の成果に基づいた天然林の復元技術の開発に取り組んでおり、様々な仕様での人工植栽や天然更新補助作業を試験的に行っている（鷹西ほか、2000）。階段地拵えもその一つで、急傾斜地での森林造成を目的に1977（昭和52）年より実施された。初回から40年近くが経過し、比較的特徴的な更新が見られたため、今回はその現状を報告する。 |
