| Abstract: | 従来では，可能の否定文について禁止や不許可など用法があることは指摘されてきた。本稿は，このような現象に着目し，さらに動作主を聞き手のみならず，話し手や第三者を含め，可能本来の意味を踏まえ，可能の否定文を多角的に議論したものである。言語行為論では，可能形式が表す許可などは間接発話行為として扱われることがある。本稿では，間接発話行為に関わる適切性条件という側面ではなく，共通基盤という概念を援用し，動的な観点から会話参加者が否定の可能文を使用することでどのような共通基盤化のプロセスを経て，どんな共同行為を達成できるかを論じてきた。共通基盤が形成された際に状況文脈，形式文脈，知識文脈という3種類の文脈の役割を考慮しながら考察を行った。考察した結果，従来で指摘された禁止や不許可以外に，大きく相手の提案に対する却下，依頼または発話者の情緒表出という多義な解釈があることがわかった。 |
