The nearby localities of the southern Kuril Islands, located cast of Hokkaido, have not been regarded as part of the sika deer's regular range, despite isolated observations and trace evidence described before 2017. Here we consolidate the information of the sika deer in the southern Kuril Islands since 1986 with new information that establishes a continuous record of living sika deer on Kunashir Island from 2017 to 2019.日本哺乳類学会(The Mammal Society of Japan.)2020-04-15engjournal articleVoRhttp://hdl.handle.net/2115/80991https://doi.org/10.3106/ms2020-00081343-4152Mammal study452167171https://eprints.lib.hokudai.ac.jp/dspace/bitstream/2115/80991/1/Mammal%20study%2045%20%282%29_167-171.pdfapplication/pdf2.51 MB2020-04-15
