Such relative distributions of vertical stress and the effects were compared with those computed by elastic and viscoelastic FEM. By using the same method of analysis, relation between depth of rutting and relative distribution of vertical stress at bottom of asphaltic mixture, was also investigated. The conclusions obtained follows: Load distribution by wheel tracking tests were broader than those by FEM.
