Inactivation of the paralaminar part of the ventrolateral thalamus delayed the initiation of contraversive saccades, particularly during a novel memory-guided saccade task that required self-triggering of the movement. The results suggest that signals through the thalamus regulate the timing of self-initiated saccades.Nature Publishing GroupJournal Articleapplication/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/2115/43045https://eprints.lib.hokudai.ac.jp/dspace/bitstream/2115/43045/3/NatureNeuro9.pdf1097-6256Nature Neuroscience9120222006-01enginfo:pmid/16341209info:doi/10.1038/nn1617author
