This gene was knocked-down in livers of male Balb/c mice by a hydrodynamic tail vein injection of small interfering RNA (siRNA) against the gene. This knockdown resulted in a significant decrease in plasma glucose concentration. These results suggested that asparagine synthetase is a novel protein that regulates plasma glucose levels.Pharmaceutical soc japanJournal Articleapplication/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/2115/56589https://eprints.lib.hokudai.ac.jp/dspace/bitstream/2115/56589/1/WoS_63691_Harashima.pdf0918-6158Biological & pharmaceutical bulletin3612200920112013-12engpublisher
