Genomic fingerprints generated from 43 strains revealed four DNA types (A-D) using the combined results of Rep-, ERIC-, and Box-PCR. Genetic variation was found among the strains examined; strains collected from Europe belonged to DNA types A or B, and strains collected from Hokkaido belonged to DNA types C or D. However, strains belonging to each DNA type showed the same pathogenicity to grapevines (cultivar Kerner), and virulence was indistinguishable among these strains.SpringerJournal Articleapplication/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/2115/65237https://eprints.lib.hokudai.ac.jp/dspace/bitstream/2115/65237/1/DNA_type_analysis_of_X_a_20160317.pdf1345-2630Journal of general plant pathology8231591642016-05enginfo:doi/10.1007/s10327-016-0650-2The final publication is available at Springer via http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/s10327-016-0650-2author
