The problem is motivated by the Cahn-Hilliard equation, where one has a control of the total energy and chemical potential. We show that the limit interface is an integral varifold with generalized LP mean curvature. The convergence of interfaces as c -+ 0 is in the Hausdorff distance sense.Department of Mathematics, Hokkaido UniversityDepartmental Bulletin Paperapplication/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/2115/69259info:doi/10.14943/83655https://eprints.lib.hokudai.ac.jp/dspace/bitstream/2115/69259/1/pre509.pdfHokkaido University Preprint Series in Mathematics5091302000-12-01engpublisher
