Abstract: This paper theoretically approaches the process of historical change in South Korea's ban on Japanese popular culture. By examining “the collective emotional ambivalence” with concepts of “censorship,” “collective (un)conscious,” and “disavowal,” this paper investigates the shaping process of “the post-colonial subject” who both denies and desires the other's culture. All this argues that the subject possessing a collective conscience and emotion toward the other is cultural production through the development process of the mass media, the arena for the struggles and contradictions of complicated conditions responsible for constructing the globally, nationally, and locally penetrating concept of the “nation.”2014-03-17T15:00:00Z金, 成玟This paper theoretically approaches the process of historical change in South Korea's ban on Japanese popular culture. Abstract: This paper examines the transnational space of popular culture and cultural identities in Korea that formed in the process of the public acceptance of Japanese Animation (Anime), one of few fields officially allowed in the postwar period during which Japanese popular culture was forbidden. Particularly, in analyzing anime-songs aired in Korea between the 1960s and the 2000s and in observing the process of their historical evolvement, critical points for arguing the flow of popular culture between Japan and Korea as it relates to media culture and identity emerge. The research first reconstitutes the cultural relationship between postwar Japan and Korea, as reflected in the acceptance of Anime and historic changes in South Korean identities in the above period, according to the ideal type “Anime-Song Community.” Then, the research employs a comprehensive approach incorporating diverse perspectives of industrial and historical content flow, consumption, and identity to examine the way in which media practice constitutes that field. By thus considering from an overall perspective what kind of socio-cultural dynamics are revealed through changes in the style of acceptance of “Anime-Songs” shared between both countries, we should be able to comprehend the transition of cultural identity amidst young Korean generations.2014-03-17T15:00:00Z玄, 武岩This paper examines the transnational space of popular culture and cultural identities in Korea that formed in the process of the public acceptance of Japanese Animation (Anime), one of few fields officially allowed in the postwar period during which Japanese popular culture was forbidden. Abstract: The aim of this paper is to clarify mechanisms of TV programs’ “Cross-border” by classifying patterns of “modification”. Recently, Japanese Comics, games and TV dramas are crossing the border to different countries. When programs are cross-border, various factors are modified because of political, religion and cultural reasons. To understand such changes would be meaningful not only to understand exchanging TV programs but also to understand mechanisms of cross-border culture. This paper focuses on adoption process of Japanese TV series of “Super-sentai series” in Korea. First, significances and limitations of concept around cross-border of TV programs were reviewed. Then, this paper analyzes the characteristics of Super-sentai series to extract significant elements of it. And then, this paper summarizes brief history of adopting “Super-sentai series” in Korea. Finally, the paper clarifies mechanisms of “cross-border” by various model of adoption including “Power ranger Captain Force show”2014-03-17T15:00:00Z平, 侑子張, 慶在The aim of this paper is to clarify mechanisms of TV programs’ “Cross-border” by classifying patterns of “modification”. Abstract: This paper examines the cultural meaning in terms of the border transgression of text which arises through the process of remaking video content such as TV dramas in other countries, using a Japanese TV drama “Haken no Hinkaku” and its Korean remake “Shokuba no Kami”. “Haken no Hinkaku” is a TV drama which formulated social consciousness in the motif of the change in employment practices in Japan, such as labor dispatch. When it was remade in Korea, the social consciousness did not just project the real world, but covered the relation outside of the text, functioning as a motive of a stir in society, or evocation of public opinion. In this paper, the point where the social consciousness arises was studied by the comparative analyses of the text in both TV productions. It revealed that the original work had been transformed into a dissimilar TV drama by the shift in the characteristics of the protagonist. As a result, it has become certain that a remake gives new significance to the original by ‘localization’ of the original as well as reproduces it in the capacity of cultural practice.2014-03-17T15:00:00Z芳賀, 恵金, 周英玄, 武岩This paper examines the cultural meaning in terms of the border transgression of text which arises through the process of remaking video content such as TV dramas in other countries, using a Japanese TV drama “Haken no Hinkaku” and its Korean remake “Shokuba no Kami”. “Haken no Hinkaku” is a TV drama which formulated social consciousness in the motif of the change in employment practices in Japan, such as labor dispatch. Abstract: Mother tongue schools have always played an important role in the preservation of native language, language socialization, and the formation of national identity of the children of immigrants and long-stay residents. In this paper we consider two schools of Russian long stay residents: the Russian school in Sapporo (Japan), and the Russian school in Seoul (South Korea) to identify and compare the general and special features of these schools. Specifically we will determine how the geographical situation of each city influences the ethnic background and years of stay of the Russian community. How this together with the education policy of each country determines the type of Russian school they want to choose for their children. And how the type of school directly influences the command and usage of the language.2014-03-17T15:00:00ZSvetlana, PaichadzeYulia, DinMother tongue schools have always played an important role in the preservation of native language, language socialization, and the formation of national identity of the children of immigrants and long-stay residents. Abstract: This paper, taking the example of Education-through-Labor System Reform, conducts the investigation on the interaction and mutual complementation status between traditional media and Internet through the formation process of Chinese Internet public opinions. Firstly, it analyzes the BBS posts about the system from 2003 to 2012, whose result indicates that, from 2003 to July 2012, on the Internet, there were a few posts criticizing the system, appealing to system reform. Until August 2012, the Tang Hui Education-through- Labor Case led to a huge climax of calling for the abolition of the system. Then, this thesis follows the process of the Case’s exposure, reporting and formation of views, and reaches conclusions that the cross-media activity that journalists release information via micro-blog promotes the formation of public opinions and the influential public opinions are formed through the interaction between traditional media and Internet. Moreover, this research shows the conditions of the public opinion formation operated by the interaction under the mediamanagement of the Chinese Government.2014-03-17T15:00:00Z劉, 亜菲This paper, taking the example of Education-through-Labor System Reform, conducts the investigation on the interaction and mutual complementation status between traditional media and Internet through the formation process of Chinese Internet public opinions. Abstract: This study investigates on China’s national public relations strategy under the globalization by analyzing the national media. In recent years, in order to improve the global public opinion environment, and to improve its national public relations capabilities that match its economic power status, China has actively strengthened its national public relations strategies, including making the national “media go out”, and building world-class media. By researching on the localization of Chinese national public relations magazines, overseas expansion of CCTV and international news reporting by Xinhua News Agency, this study pointed out that China’s national public relations’ practices have a couple of problems. The Chinese government controls the information that China’s oversea media provides, which restricts their independent activities.2014-03-17T15:00:00Z雷, 紫雯This study investigates on China’s national public relations strategy under the globalization by analyzing the national media. Abstract: A major challenge in many word-of-mouth marketing campaigns is the cost-effective identification of opinion leaders. Although, opinion leaders exert influence on the other consumers, they also get influenced by other consumers. From this point, we attempt to explain their mutual influence from a social network perspective. In this paper, opinion leaders were elicited from social media of china by measuring their six structural indexes of social network analysis. 703 effective samples were collected to verify the hypotheses. The findings show that: (a) About 15% of the members are opinion leaders. They are holding almost all the communication channels, which more than the channels that other members hold. (b) Opinion leader plays an important role as connecting different relation groups which have not mutual relations (c) Opinion leader is actively accessing original information, they disseminate the information in the preceding period of information dissemination process.2014-03-17T15:00:00Z蘇, 文A major challenge in many word-of-mouth marketing campaigns is the cost-effective identification of opinion leaders.
