| Abstract: | 本研究は舗装用のストレートアスファルトおよび触媒アスファルト計9種を用いて，密粒度アスファルトコンクリートタイプの混合物を作成し，この試料から棒状供試体を切り出し，この供試体を両端固定し，周囲のメタノールの温度を一定冷却速度で制御し，混合物を破壊させる試験から熱応力破壊温度を求め，この温度とアスファルト単体のフラース脆化点温度および著者が提案している新脆化点試験の脆化点温度との対応について検討している。実験の結果，どのアスファルトも薄膜加熱試験前後のアスファルトについて，フラース脆化点温度と新脆化点試験の脆化点温度とが密接な関係にあり，これらがアスファルト混合物について実施した熱応力試験から得られる熱応力破壊温度とも対応関係にあることを明らかにしている。また，横断亀裂現象が発生したアスファルト舗装から採取した供試体から得られた熱応力破壊温度とそれから回収したアスファルトのフラース脆化点温度との間にも同様の結果が得られた。 | | This paper describes the thermal fracture properties of asphalts and asphalt mixes at low temperatures. A series of experiments were carried out to measure thermal fracture temperatures of asphalt mixes and brittle point temperatures of asphalts. From thermal fracture test of asphalt mixes, Fraass breaking point test and new breaking point test (suggested by the author) of asphalts, it is concluded that very close correlation is observed between Fraass breaking point temperatures and new breaking point temperatures of asphalts. There also exits an obvious relation between Fraass breaking point temperatures of recovered asphalt and thermal fracture temperatures of specimen cut from asphalt pavement in the field. |
