| Abstract: | 本研究では理系学会口頭発表の書き起こしコーパスを用いて、日本語母語話者が学会発表の独話の中で接続詞「それで」の短縮形とされてきた「で」をどのように使用しているかを分析し、「それで」との比較を通してその意味・機能を検討してみた。その結果、次のことが明らかになった。（1）「で」は「それで」より多用されていた。（2）「で」は多様な意味・機能を持つ接続詞として用いられていた。辞書等に記載されている「それで」の意味・機能である「順接」、「添加」に加えて、「同列」、「補足」、「転換」、「対比」の6種類があった。（3）この他に「で」には語調を整える機能を持つことも示唆された。（4）「で」は口頭発表において実験方法や実験結果等の説明部分に多く使用されていた。以上のことから、接続詞「で」の指導は学習者が産出する口頭表現、特に学会発表などの独話での「自然な日本語」の習得に繋がると思われる。 | | The aim of this study is to clarify the usages of de, commonly viewed as a contracted form of the conjunction sorede, through the analysis of a corpus consisting of presentations at scientific meetings. The findings were: (1) de appeared much more frequently than sorede. (2) Various usages of de were found. In addition to consequence, and addition, these included exemplification, supplementation, topic-change, and contrast. A further function of de, that of filler, is also suggested. This wide range of use can be seen as an important factor in (1). (3) de appeared most frequently in sections of the presentation explaining methods and results of experiments. |
