Abstract: We combine the total variation flow suitable for crystal modeling and image analysis withthedynamicboundaryconditions. Weanalyzethebehavioroffacetsatthepartsofthe boundarywheretheseconditionsareimposed. Wedevoteparticularattentiontotheradially symmetric data. We observe that the boundary layer detachment actually can happen at concave parts of the boundary.
