Abstract: We synthesized semitransparent conducting thin films of amorphous carbon from sp(3)-rich network polymer. The films showed a reasonable optical transparency (58-73% transmission in the wavelength range of 380-2200 nm), a low electric resistivity (6.7 x 10(-3) Omega cm), and durability against corrosive chemical reagents. The sintering of the amorphous films results in the formation of a carbon honeycomb lattice in the films. (C) 2018 The Japan Society of Applied Physics
