Abstract

電荷分離反応の結果生じた光化学系II反応中心の還元側と酸化側の電子伝達成分上の正電荷と負電荷の再結合により発光が起こる.この発光(遅延発光・熱発光)は光化学系IIの電子伝達成分(特に酸素発生系)に関する有用な情報を数多く含む.
Thermoluminescence and delayed light emission arise from an excited state of photosystem II reaction center (P680), which is formed by charge recombinations between positive and negative charges stabilized in photosystem II. They provide useful information on the function of PSII, especially on photosynthetic oxygen evolving system. In this chapter, we describe application of these techniques for probing PSII.
