This paper aimed to analyze the characteristics of users of 'camp on farms' for ruraI tourism. We focused on the case of 'S Camp' in Hokkaido, Japan. We investigated the users of 'S Camp' in 2005-06 using the web questionnaire survey. The findings of this paper were as follows. First, they have plentiful positive experiences and good camping manners. Second, they rate very highly the features of 'S Camp' (e.g., landscapes on farms and limiting the number of campers). Third, they need a lavatory and cookhouse in 'S Camp'. Fourth, they respect the preservation of nature.
