中級学習者の会話におけるコミュニケーション能力について : 初級学習者と中級学習者のロールプレイの比較を通して

Abstract
本稿では初級学習者と中級学習者の行なったロールプレイを比較分析することによって、両者の会話におけるコミュニケーション能力の違いを見た。両者の誤用を（1）コミュニケーション不成立（2）不適切な表現（3）文法の誤り（4）語彙の誤りに分類し、比較分析した結果、注目すべきことは初級学習者に表れたコミュニケーション不成立が中級学習者には全く見られなかったことである。そこでその要因を明らかにするために中級学習者の会話をCanale & Swainの言う4つのコミュニケーション能力（文法能力、社会言語学的能力、談話能力、ストラテジ一能力）に照らし合わせてみた。その結果中級学習者は色々なコミュニケーション能力やストラテジーを持ち、それらを効果的に用いて会話を円滑に進め、コミュニケーション不成立を回避しているということが分かった。
In this paper, it became clear that there were the differences of the communication competence in Japanese converstion between biginners and intermediate learners. The conversations which were produced in the role-play conducted by two different levels (biginners and intermediate learners) were compared and analyzed. The analysis was carried out on the basis of "the four comunication competence" (gramatical competence, sociolinguistic competence, discourse competence, strategic competence) advanced by Canale and Swain. The results showed that intermediate learners had some distinguished competence which could not be appeared in biginners conversation.
