The recipients of public assistance increased in number and it has led to aggravation of local public finance. In this research, the medical aid which occupies 50% of the expenses of public assistance was selected as a theme. And the actual condition and the improvement direction of medical aid were examined based on the data of Date city, Hokkaido. I would like to expect that a data indication in each city will progress and research of the same kind will progress from now on.
