This word list contains 222words from the Amur dialect of Nivkh, collected during an expedition to the Lower Amur Region (Russia) in summer 2012. For comparison we also listed words collected from a speaker of the West Sakhalin dialect in 2001. The words collected from these two speakers exhibit striking similarity and supports the claim made earlier by Shternberg (1908) that the two dialects are closely related to each other.
