This paper examines an epistemological and interdisciplinary approach to a definition of risk,which gives appropriate meanings to the diversities of current risk research,while unifying conceptually these varieties. On the basis of Althaus (2005),which focuses on how the knowledge framework of each discipline shapes each risk research,I will show how this line of approach to risk notion can capture so far fragmented observations on risk phenomenon.
