The purpose of this report is to clarify the features and policies concerning the small-scale measure of the 6th industrialization in Hokkaido. The results of the report reveal that the measure is characterized as achieving maintainable farm management that is consistent with family labor, promoting consumer exchange, and providing manager satisfaction. Moreover, the measure of the 6th industrialization consists of a large-scale measure and a small-scale measure. Although the small-scale measure has contributed to the promotion of regional agriculture and exchange with consumers, it is insufficient in terms of political support. Therefore, it is clear that a support initiative is required for the small-scale measure.
