This paper documents the authors' project, which aimed to catalog and provide access to a collection of 3,339 items of lifelong learning materials stored at Hokkaido University's Research Division for Higher Education. These materials were initially transferred from a prominent social education facility in Tokyo in 2004 but remained unused for many years. Our project involved cataloging these items, organizing a small exhibition to showcase the materials, and distributing some of them to scholars and students for research purposes. During the exhibition, we also facilitated exchange workshops involving students, faculty, and university staff, providing participants with opportunities to engage in discussions related to the collection items.
