チラコイド膜に存在する光合成装置には多数の疎水性小型サブユニットが結合している．これらのタンパク質の分析法は一般のタンパク質実験法と異なるので，その分析法と問題点を概説する．
Low-molecular-mass subunits are unique components of photosynthetic apparatus harboring photosystems and cytochrome b6/f complex in the thylakoid membranes. We summarized technical points for handling of these low-molecular-mass subunits including detailed protocol of SDS-urea-PAGE.
