本稿では，はじめにEPR法の原理を紹介し，次に，X-band汎用EPR機による測定法の使用を想定し，光合成研究への応用例を紹介している．また，最近のより進んだEPR測定法についても簡単に紹介している．
EPR (Electron paramagnetic resonance) is a powerful method for photosynthetic research. In this chapter, we introduce the principle of the EPR technique and some methods for spin quantization in photosynthetic organisms. Some examples of EPR signals in photosynthetic organisms and recent techniques are introduced.
