光誘起フーリエ変換赤外（FTIR）差スペクトル法を用いることにより，光合成蛋白質における電子伝達成分などのコファクター及びその結合部位の構造や反応を原子・分子レベルで調べることができる．本手法の原理，及び測定・解析法について解説する．
Light-induced Fourier transform infrared difference spectroscopy provides information on the structures and reactions of cofactors such as redox components in photosynthetic proteins at the atomic and molecular level. In this article, the principle of this spectroscopy and the methods of measurements and spectral analysis are explained.
