A review of the millipede fauna of the Sakhalin Island is provided, with 13 recognizable species involved. A brief historical account, a comparative analysis, and some zoogeographical comments are provided. In addition, new faunistic records and data on the distribution of the island's species are given. Illustrations are provided for all species encountered. All currently known species from the Sakhalin Island are keyed.
