For increasing persons who move across national borders, it is very important that they can get appropriate medical care. The EU has taken active measures in the field of medical care systems to ensure the free movement of persons. This paper examines these measures and discusses medical care systems for those persons. The analysis suggests that coordination of national systems is necessary for protecting their positions in medical care systems. It illustrates also influences of the comprehensive economic partnerships on medical care systems.
