Abstract

The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect of the continuous training of running distance on postural stability. The subjects were five college students(4 male and 1 female)who did not specialize in long distance running, and had 3 months of continuous training(8000m run/time, 3 times/week). Also, measurement the stability of standing posture of pre and post for 3 months. Result of continuous training for 3 month,(1)Maximum heart rate was decreased during continuous training of training period for 3 months(pre171.4±12.2bpm and post140.2± 7.4bpm).( 2)Greater trochanter angle( pre170.2±2.2°and post175.7±1.7°), ASIS-PSIS angle( pre6.2 ±1.0° and post4.6±1.0°), ASIS-pubis angle(pre5.3±0.3° and post4.3±0.3°)were significantly change by pre and post. From these results, training focused on running distance suggested the possibility of promoting improvement of standing posture. In addition, when coaching college students and amateur players in long distance runner, guidance of continuous training focusing on running distance could be considered to reduce the injuries.
