Abstract
オーストラリアでは2010年代初頭以後、同国初のナショナル・カリキュラムである「オーストラリアン・カリキュラム（Australian Curriculum：ＡＣ）」が全州で運用されている。汎用的能力の育成に重きをおいた同カリキュラムは、時代的要請に即したものとして、同国の多文化状況における運用とともに注目されてきたが、カリキュラムそのものの特徴を端的かつ具体的に示した論稿はない。本稿では、5年生の英語を事例として、ＡＣの要約を紹介し、その特徴を整理した。本稿が、今後のカリキュラム研究および日本におけるカリキュラム開発や教育実践に資する資料を提示できればと考える。
The aim of this paper is to introduce the contents of the Australian Curriculum, which was implemented since 2013 as the first National Curriculum in Australia, and to understand its features. This work is meaningful as a reference for future research on the operation of the Australian Curriculum and curriculum development in Japan. Through consideration of the abridged translation of the Curriculum, Y5 English, it is clear that the Australian Curriculum has a wide range of the contents, texts and skills and that the position of the Australian Standard English as a National Language is emphasized as well as the respects for Indigenous and multicultural perspectives.
