| Abstract: | 近年，地域社会や観光客の「自律性」に着目し，地域主導で創出する持続可能な観光として「自律的観光」が注目を集めている。しかし自律的観光の定義や実現プロセスなどについては，これまで十分に調査・研究されてこなかった。そこで本稿では，観光をデザインする観光地の立場から自律的観光を定義するとともに，観光客の観光デザインプロセスへの参加度合いが，観光地の自律性と関連することを述べた。そして観光地が観光に対する基本的考え方を示し，観光客の持つ多様な知識やノウハウを取り入れる方法として「オープンソースによる自律的観光」が優れていることを示した。また，オープンソースによる自律的観光を実現するためのプロセスモデルとして「サーキットモデル」を応用し，その促進要因としてインターミディアリーとインタープリタが重要であることを指摘した。さらに，デザインプロセスへの主体的参加を実践している登別市ネイチャーセンター「ふぉれすと鉱山」と，そこでインターミディアリーの役割を果たしているNPO法人「ねおす」の事例を紹介し，オープンソースによる自律的観光の実現可能性を検討した。 | | In the community-based tourism in Japan, much attention has been paid for an autonomous tourism. It is recognized as one of the conditions for achieving sustainable tourism at local level. Although there are many studies to document sustainability of tourism, there is no clear definition for the autonomous tourism. This study attempts to define and illustrate the autonomous tourism and its nature. It is the type of tourism that local community takes the initiative in management of tourism. At the same time, authors stated that the participation of tourists in tourism design process is related to the autonomy. To achieve autonomous tourism with proactive participation, "open- source" management that utilizes knowledge of tourists is strongly recommended. In addition, authors apply "circuit model" to create open-source Tourism management. To facilitate the model, intermediary and interpreter are important factors. Feasibility study of autonomous tourism by open-source management is carried out on "Forest KOZAN" and "NEOS" in Hokkaido. |
