| Abstract: | A new genus and species of the tribe Ptyctini, Kimunpsocus takumai, was described based on the specimens collected in Hokkaido, Japan. Morphologically, Kimunpsocus is apparently a member of the tribe Ptyctini and is similar to Loensia in the forewing markings and venation. However, independence of this new genus was supported morphologically and molecularly. |
