Abstract:	北海道大学スラブ研究センターは、ロシアをはじめとするスラブ・ユーラシアの地域研究に携わる、国内の中核的機関であり、2010年には共同利用・共同研究拠点の指定を受けた。その図書室および北大附属図書館等の関連コレクションは、国内最大規模のものであり、内外の多くの研究者から活用され、高く評価されている。その運営は、主題専門家の教員を中心に行われている、国内的では少数の例のひとつであるが、収集水準の維持・向上、地域的バランスの改善、収蔵スペースの確保などが課題である。
