Abstract: The fluctuation of unconfined groundwater level for the snow period was examined, using past 30-years data of groundwater level observatory and neighboring meteorological observatory (AMEDAS observatory)in Ishikari Gulf area that was snowy cold region. The relationship between the accumulated precipitation(maximum water equivalent of snow)from the data of the AMEDAS observatory(ΣΡ)and the increase of unconfined groundwater level in snow melt season(ΔΗ) was considerably good. The successive tendency like as decreasing the accumulated precipitation for snow period do not seem to be admitted in the past 30-years.
