Abstract: Pt was successfully electrodeposited on a Nb-doped TiO2(110) electrode from a solution of 1 mM K-2[PtCl4] and 50 mM H2SO4 using single-pulse chronoamperometry. The morphology of the deposited Pt nanoparticles was sensitive to the deposition potential and holding time. A novel method for the preparation of metal particles on a single-crystal TiO2 surface in a controlled manner has been proposed.
