| Abstract: | NII の総合目録においては，著者名典拠レコードの新規登録件数が低下傾向にあり，書誌レコード中の著者標目フィールドと著者名典拠とのリンク形成率もまた低下傾向にある。その一方，著者名典拠レコードの「歩留まり」には向上が見られるが，これには新規レコード作成に与かる館の減少が関係している可能性がある。NII の総合目録システムにおいては，参加館が多く登録書誌レコードが増えるほど目録負担が軽減され，それがさらに拡大を生むという循環の一方で，参加館の中に目録作成能力が十分でない館が増え，「歩留まり」の低下により，維持コストを引き上げる等の負の循環が生じるおそれがあり，それを踏まえた運営体制が要請される。 | | The number of name authority file records being contributed to the NII union catalog is decreasing, as is the rate of name fields in bibliographic records being linked to name authority records. On one hand we can see an increase in the yield rate of name authority records, but it is possible that it is related to the decreasing number of libraries contributing records. We know that an individual institution's cataloging burden decreases as more libraries contribute records to the NII union catalog, and it helps to attract more libraries to the union catalog. But our observation suggests that, on the other hand, it leads deterioration of cataloging knowledge among participating libraries, and there will be a decrease in the yield rate and an increase in the costs of maintaining the union catalog system. The author calls for an improved operational system that will be able to break the negative cycle. |
