| Abstract: | Current knowledge of the phytophagous ladybird beetle Ryszardia decipiens (Crotch) was reviewed. It occurs on the mountainous areas of the Java and Bali, Indonesia, feeding of leaves of Clematis lechenaultiana and an unidentified Clematis species. Three related species, Ryszardia sumatraedecipiens Katakura, sp. nov. R. paradecipiens Katakura, sp. nov. and R. clematophila Katakura et Kahono, sp. nov., were described from Sumatra, Sulawesi and Java, respectively, on Clematis spp. and/or related Naravelia sp. |
