Abstract: | Effective Friedel-Crafts reactions with 3-(3-methoxyphenyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-3H-diazirine and optically active N-TFA-Asp(Cl)-OMe in triflic acid afforded homophenylalanine derivatives effectively without loss of the optical purity. |
