Abstract: In this study, we aimed to develop a process for recovering phosphorus from methane fermentation digested liquid by crystallization on the surface of scallop shell. Scallop shell powder was put into methane fermentation digested liquid at appropriate pH, and HAP (hydroxyapatite) was crystallized on the surface of the shell. HAP on the shell powder was dehydrated to recover phosphorus. Fabricatel system used a fluidized bed reactor for crystallization method. Measurement parameters were influent phosphate concentration, effluent phosphate concentration, and pH. We performed a model experiment using a fluidized bed reactor. It took 3 hours to treat all raw water which was 12 L of phosphorus solution prepared 50 mg-PO4/L. As the result of this experiment, we achieved 82.6% of phosphorus recovering efficiency. But when we tried to recover phosphorus from methane fermentation digested liquid, the organic matter blocked HAP crystallization. So the recovering efficiency was less than that of model experiment. The phosphorus recovering efficiency improved in condition that methane fermentation digested liquid was diluted three times and reduced concentration of the organic matter.
本研究では、130ppm程度のリン酸を含むメタン発酵消化液にホタテ貝殻粉末を投入し、適切なpHに調節することで表面にリン酸カルシウムの一形態であるHAP(hydrozyapatite)を形成させ、その後脱水してホタテ粉末に晶析したHAPごとリン回収を行うプロセス技術の開発を目指した。反応槽は流動層リアクタを用い、pHと原水リン濃度、処理水リン濃度を測定した。模擬汚泥としてリン濃度50㎎/Lに調製した溶液を用い3時間で12Lの原水を処理する実験を行ったところ、リン回収率は平均82.6%であった。しかしメタン発酵消化液からリン回収を行った実験では原水中の有機物が反応阻害を引き起こし、回収率は低下した。有機物による阻害を抑制するため消化液を3倍希釈して実験を行ったところ、リン回収率の向上が確認された。
