Abstract:	積雪内に弱層と呼ばれる弱い層があると、これが滑り面となって表層雪崩か発生する。弱層を作っている雪質としては、あられ層、しもざらめ雪、大きな新雪結晶、表面霜などが知られている。気象データから弱層の形成が予測できれば表層雪崩の予知も可能となる。
