Abstract:	長期観察林の設定の趣旨は1985年4月1日付の北大演習林長期観察林調査要領に示されているように、林分構成・蓄積および収穫・更新などを時間的推移に対応して調査し、資料を蓄積して森林施業に資することにある。この趣旨に基づき、また学生実習のための直接的利用も含めて、今回簾舞試験地内に長期観察林を設定したのでその概要を報告する。
