| Abstract: | 北大研究林における野ネズミ調査の始まりは、1954年洞爺丸台風後の造林地で増加したエゾヤチネズミによる被害に起因している。当時の北大演習林も、被害防除法確立の一環として1967年に道が勧める野ネズミ予察調査に参加し、1984年までの17年間調査を実施した。その後、1991年に長期的な動態調査を目的として、当時の雨龍演習林所属の林田光祐・中川演習林所属の中野繁らを中心に、北大演習林独自で取り組むプロジェクト研究として新たに開始された。苫小牧演習林も1995年秋にプロットを設定し調査を開始した。現在も、プロジェクト発足当時に作成したマニュアルを基にして調査が継続されている。 |
