| Abstract: | 中川研究林では、2006年10月に「ミズナラ林の育成」というテーマで育林技術に関する現地検討会を実施した。本林におけるミズナラ林の造成は、古くは1960年代から始まったが、特に90年代から積極的に植栽や播種による更新が行われてきたという経緯がある。更新作業から10年程経過した現在、これらの更新地の現状を振り返り、今後の山造りの方向性を考えたいという主旨で、「ミズナラ林育成」というテーマを設定したものである。検討会では、教員・技術職員・林業技能補佐員といった山造りに関わる全ての職員が共に現場を回り、山造りに関して活発な意見交換が行われた。本報告では、その現地検討会で使用した資料と、討論の内容を紹介しながら、中川研究林におけるミズナラ林育成の現状と今後の展望について考察する。 |
