Abstract: UN Millennium Declaration has announced that access to the safe water should be improved by 2015, however, mortality rate of children was not improved as is expected. This contradictive phenomenon raises the attention to the water treatment inside the household. In this research, we have shown the household sanitation management using Myanmar Demographic and Health Survey (2015-16), then, we present our water survey result and the water treatment inside the household, Our result indicates that household with a mother who boils water before drinking, shows higher household income and longer mother's education, compared to those with a mother who does not boil water before drink. Mother's education has been proven to be an important factor affecting child health, through water treatment inside her home.
