| Abstract: | The purpose of this research is to clarify the financial structure and management method of community support for the UK regional revitalization organization. The subject of the survey was Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT), a charity organization working on regional revitalization and based in rural England. The characteristics of the financial structure are as follows: (1) The main sources of income are donations, legacies, and incoming resources from charitable activities; (2) Expenditures are equivalent to more than half of the labor cost; and (3) Charitable activities are subdivided. The management characteristics of community support are as follows: The case organizations are (1) providing careful consulting to local residents, (2) subdividing the project and managing it carefully, and (3) systematizing the planning to enhance the projectʼs social significance and realize fund acquisition. From these analysis results, this paper suggests that the most important guideline for maintaining a stable regional revitalization function is the attitude of focusing on human support. |
