| Abstract: | Trichaitophorus kominecola sp. nov. is described from Acer micranthum (Sapindaceae) with its life cycle. Moreover, additional morphological characters of T. japonicus, and new localities and new host record of T. koyaensis are provided. Based on host records of the Japanese and the foreign Trichaitophorus species, the host association of this genus is discussed. |
